Functions of CFASI
CFASI has mainly four functions. They are "Analysis & Diagnosis", "Education & Training", "Research & Development" and "Collaboration".
"Analysis & Diagnosis" is a function to acquire many different spatial information such as satellite data; analyze the information using appropriate models according to the specific need; develop new models if necessary; prepare a prescription for users.
"Education & Training" is to provide necessary training and education through seminars or workshops to the people who have to understand the analysis results and are supposed to take actions according to the prescription.
"Research & Development" is to conduct research on new model and methodology to solve new specific needs, and also to modify conventional models or to combine them together to create better one.
"Collaboration" is to find appropriate partners on global basis to try to find the best solution to the specific needs.
CFASI is always making best efforts to organize the best team for each of the social needs.
