Welcome! Our laboratory, called "Irie laboratory" or "Air Quality & Sky Research (A-SKY) Laboratory", belongs to the Center for Environmental Remote Sensing (CEReS), Chiba University.
We are utilizing advantages of space- and ground-based remote sensing techniques to study atmospheric environmental changes (such as trace gas concentrations, aerosol optical properties, cloud optical properties, and radiation) on local, regional, and global scales. Under international and domestic collaborations, we expect that our activity would contribute to improving our Earth's environment in near futures.
